LaNita, a native of Florida, retired from the Air Force in May 2007 and moved to Tucson with her husband Vaughn. They have one daughter and two grandchildren. She is a graduate of Park University with a BS in Social Psychology and a Masters in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. LaNita has worked in the counseling field and is a licensed minister. She uses her licensure and degrees to help provide life coaching through Healing Hearts Ministries.
