Erika spent a decade teaching elementary school, receiving the 2016 Gila County Teacher of the Year Award. Now an ASU Clinical Assistant Professor, she teaches future educators. Erika is a passionate advocate for foster care and adoption, and is a founding member of the KiSMET Foundation. Her most important titles, however, are wife (to JohnDaniel), and mother (to Raleigh).
