Elana was a sixth generation Arizona native and single mother of two high school students. In 2013, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Ovarian Cancer. She founded the Red Thursday Foundation, and was also a speaker and business consultant for the professional beauty industry, reaching out to cancer patients and beauty professionals throughout the world. Sweet Elana died of a return of her cancer in January 2018. We are all made better for having known her.
